    Appalling penalty saved from Fleming.

    We obviously haven’t practiced.

Well at least we won the cup. That's us qualified for the African Champion's League then.

    Good save from Burton.

    City win with McKenzie goal.

Quite possibly the worst penalty shoot out I’ve ever seen.

Hard to say but I thought McKenzie and Hamilton looked like they should get another start.

There were a few decent Kenyan players there, their captain stood out for me and as he's a centre half, he'd be handy to have. I think work permits might be an issue for many of them, but it'd be nice to take a few on trial, you never know.

For all the sneering on here. It's pretty good pr for the club and we're not known for that these days. 60,000 is pretty impressive.

60,000 fans packed into the Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi, Kenya, on Sunday afternoon as the Tigers took part in a friendly against Gor Mahia, a match arranged in conjunction with our Main Shirt Sponsor SportPesa.

Nigel Adkins’ side faced the Kenyan League Champions in a match aimed at exposing their opponents to international competition and increasing their exposure to the world football scene, in-keeping with SportPesa’s mission to develop football on the African continent.

A hard-fought game ended 0-0, with the match eventually decided by a penalty shoot-out with the Tigers running out 4-3 winners after successful spot kicks from Jon Toral, Kevin Stewart, Billy Chadwick and Robbie McKenzie.

The post-season trip will now continue with the squad and staff set to visit a number of community projects in the next couple of days, before returning to the UK on Wednesday.

Hull City (Starting XI): David Marshall, Dan Batty, Robbie McKenzie, Adam Curry, Stephen Kingsley, Kevin Stewart, Evandro, Jarrod Bowen, Fraizer Campbell, Jon Toral, Will Keane.

The football wasn't great, but it was a pretty amazing event.
And what an experience for our young-uns involved.
A bonus getting a stream of it too, although I only managed to catch snippets of the 2nd half as I was out and about, and never for one minute anticipated it being shown live!

It probably won't do us any good or any harm next season....but it's given a local team a chance to play against an ex Prem team, the locals obviously loved it and it was something special to them, something they will probably never get a chance to see or experience again. From the instagram stories from our players that went it looked a really good trip.

The club gets alot if hammer and rightly so! But I think them and sportpeasa deserve a pat on the back for this little trip.
