Got back from Bedford about an hour ago and there were a load of Borehamwood fans getting on the train already on the sauce. At least of they lose a few of them won't realise it. Always had a love hate relationship with the place as know some really nice people that were brought up there but equally a few of them used to come down to Edgware and other areas of a Saturday night and beat the crap out of anything that moved. On topic - just the one for me today. Like the look of Get Knotted in the big handicap at Ascot. Good luck one and all.
bwood was a hole when i lived there , it's probably worse now , but like everywhere , good and bad , i was the only watford supporter in my school at that time ! 600 odd kids , 5 miles to the ground , sure lowly second div club but so what .... i'm sure there will be more watford fans from there now , but london clubs , and all the big glam ones like man ure , liverpool, etc will still attract more .... we all used to go watch the wood if they had a glamour game like arsenal reserves, or even watford in pre season ... but they were a really low isthmian league club for many years , they seem ambitious now , play tidy football and have potential to go into league football Get Knotted , i also like that dan , drawn in the middle so can go either way , value at 28/1 , good luck
Holeee Mackerel, what a finish by Silver Streak in the Swinton Hurdle, hindered at the last too! Felt sorry for Tom O'Brien who had to stand-down due to a fall earlier. Adam Wedge was a hell of a good stand-in though, fine ride!
Thanks Oddy, tomorrow actually, asked family if they wanted a change but they love the place! Heart just resumed normal speed, I think!
Thank you, but Act Of Valour having to be put-down was indeed sad. Condolences to all connected with the horse. NH racing is so often a very harsh sport.
A nose away from getting 2 in the first 5.. Small profit today as bigger bet was on Sabador so I 'll settle for that..
karlos, my nerves are shredded and I'm glad I'm already bald! We're back! Cannot believe it. 10 men for 89 minutes, had to use all 3 subs in the first half and we still did it.
