Just noticed that Milner and Moreno are out of contract this summer. So we will literally just have Robbo for LB!

 

And Hendo for CM

 

I'd like us to keep hold of Milner.
Not too fussed on Hendo.
Moreno can ****off!

 

Just Robbo for LB is actually an improvement on Robbo and Moreno.

 

Milner as backup wasn't a bad option though

 

Agree. Milner is such a good utility player and still ridiculously fit...we'd be mad to not keep hold of him! His salary might be an issue.

maybe. but it takes 3 to tango in football.

clubs will not want to sell early unless they want money. often they leak stories to drum up business/competition as they know what scouts were in

players will want best deal not first one so that drives a lot of agent spin..

and then we actually need to bid and we can hold out to get the nod signal as a failed bid is embaressing.

if lfc have 2 or 3 deals all ready to go great. but we won't be wanting anything to come out prior to cl final... and certain elements will be trying very hard to unsettle us in the run up.

One thing is for sure. I will bide my time before I comment on our transfer business. I wa scathing about who we'd (not) signed last summer and predicted a finish outside of the top four - as you did I believe. Whatever happens next two games, we've massively beaten my expectations tbh

I predicted on the basis that we were not as good as the others and frankly we have had the emergence of a superstar in salah AND Chelsea imploding in January plus arsenal just completely pestering out especially away from home.

for me where we sit today is good in that we did get vvd. I feel that was crucial, that coutinho played well all January and we will get kieta from next year.

scarily we could be 5th but should not be so were we that far off?

I agree that the cl has vastly exceeded expectations but the draws have been favourable.

the fa cup and league cup were very disappointing

we can look forward to a competitive league again next year but should be better placed if anything.

I think we have got closer to a competitive 11 but.need to maintain and grow it.

 

IF we confirm CL qualification tomorrow.
