Looks like both us Yids and Goons will be licking our wounds tonight, off the back of respective hammerings. Who'd have thought we'd both have such poor starts to the season and be in the bottom three. Fresh start come Sept 1 and some new blood for us hopefully. COYS, let's get our season of the mark!
this goes to show how waiting till deadline day just doesn't work. I've got a couple of mates who are gooners fans. They've said to me for a while that the only difference between us and them was 3 players. nasri, fibreglass and VP. They've said that if we'd have had those players, we'd have finished above them. - watching arsenal today it's not a bad assumption. Now that 2 of those 3 have left, it's really showing some holes that have been left on the pitch. the team doesn't look disciplined, it lacks creativity, some quality and nerve in front of goal. they, like us, also appear to have lost confidence. Where we haven't signed anyone, they have let big names go. it's a very similar situation over all. it just goes to show how playing the deadline day game can have a real impact to the start of your season. once again, man united look superb. they are playing well as a unit. - just like city, they got their names in early, they've "gelled" and it can be clearly seen. it's nice to see we're not alone in our terrible start. hopefully this will give those who have been saying "redknapp out" and over reacting, something to think about. This game is like deja vu. The only difference being that I don't give a Sh*t.
Why would the nomads poor performance give Spurs pause for thought? Its got bog all to do with the 'Harry out' brigade how the Arse fare.
how arsenal get on isn't the point DB, I was comparing it to the fact that we've both done nothing through the window and it's costing us. it was to try and lift spirits a bit as everyone is very frustrated. - we aren't the only ones, was my point. does it not "make you happy" that the arse are being destroyed? more so than us? just a little bit?
No, it doesn't. And if you read my posts this afternoon, I've been quite positive - especially in the face of our result.
All I can say is that I'm thankful I benched Sagna in my fantasy team. I was expecting them to ship three or four, but eight?!?
