North Ferriby United get new owners as Jamie Waltham departs for India North Ferriby United have a new owner once again as Jamie Waltham’s often controversial time in charge of the club was brought to an end last night. Waltham, who was only at the helm at the Villagers for just short of six months having taken over from Steve and Eman Forster, has passed the club over to Carl and Terry Chadwick of Chadwick Builders, who have acquired the ground’s naming rights as part of the deal. https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/north-ferriby-united-new-owners-1569052
Hurrah. Hopefully this lot will be a bit more grounded and treat the club for what it is, rather than the crap Waltham was coming out with.
No, that's the global headquarters, it's on Leads Road (or, according to their Facebook page, Leeds Road).
If I had the money I'd have done it without hesitation. It's all well and good saying nobody wants to, it's another thing actually having the money to buy and sustain a semi professional football club.
Who said nobody wants to?? You might find your mrs doesn't want you to when or if you ever do get the money. Maybe they can't sustain it but want to help out, but nah well sneer about them and tell em where and how to do it.
You said that the 'experts on here' didn't step in first. But you don't know who on here financially could take on such a burden; I'm sure there would be plenty of people on here who would do if they had the money, but that kind of disposable income isn't easy to come by. That Phil West Stand bloke said the same thing when Waltham took over, that nobody else was queuing up to do it. It's a daft argument because there are very few people who have the kind of money to do that. That sentiment is "there are plenty of people who want to AND have the money to do so, when that simply isn't the case. Waltham was, at one point, a footballer, so obviously he has a bit of spare cash. It doesn't mean his ideas weren't ****.
Well, if that's not what you're implying, then your original comment about 'experts', which I presume was sarcasm, falls flat.
Calm down dear. I know you'll buy them jus as soon as you get. The money together. Meanwhile let's all sneer at anyone who does buy them. me ****ing neither. But we're quite happy telling the Chadwick's how they're doing it wrong. Love the Internet me.
