    Alex or Pierre

Goal of the season has to be Gabbi away to Swansea.... made me yell the most anyway.

I’ve gone for Alex for giving the defence confidence they sorely needed, and for goal of the season I went for Tadic v B’muff, for superb technique and significance, as it gave us hope.

Boufal’s was a better goal, but I can envisage his getting GOTS as being disruptive in the dressing room... <whistle>

Ah yes yoshida came close. But bringing in McCarthy was a massive boost.

I couldn’t not vote for boufal for goal of the season.

    Has to be McCarthy.

Most pleased for Hojbjerg. Found his exile rather perplexing at the beginning of the season, and I'm sure it means quite a bit to him to have risen from a forgotten fixture in the reserves to being one of the first names of the team sheet.

This for me too. I really like Pierre and his attitude. I know someone who’s brother in law is Pierre’s Uncle and has a link. He was looking to leave in the summer but then settled, thankfully. I’m meeting this person early June and hope to here he is happy and staying.

    Yoshida for me.

He and McCarthy were the only two players that pleasantly surprised me my being better than I thought they might be. McCarthy played better and saved us, so I guess really it should be him. But no one really deserves it this season. So I am giving to Yoshida for past services rendered.

Also, he was the one guy where I always felt like he would give it his all, and was reliable (even in his Yoshida errors he was reliable). I think his attitude and experience gave us a bit of stability that may in its own way have been as important as McCarthy’s saves. Ehhh... that’s stretching it but I like Yoshida so I’m sticking with it.

Austin was honestly IMO our best player but he was injured way too much. As he been healthy all season, I think we would not have sweated relegation nearly as much though we still would have been bad.

Very interested to see that Pierre came second (though a long way behind). As I only tend to watch any of the match if we win or draw late, you will understand I haven't seen many minutes. :) Always pleased to hear that someone has found themselves and getting opportunities (such as Bednerak), especially when times are hard. We have got a pretty decent squad if the manager can get the best out of our players.....now if only he can improve our goalscoring......

Voted for McCarthy. Love Pierre - how he conducts himself, how he plays, the effort he puts in, but McCarthy has had a bigger impact on the season in my opinion. Also I can remember some games where Pierre wasn't quite at it and I don't think you can't say the same about McCarthy.

Goal of the season I voted Lemina. Love those types of goals and an important win when we needed it.
