Off Topic Where have you booked for the Summer?

I'm hopefully off to Mexico next month. My youngest daughter is travelling there with her feller. Currently in Guatemala on an intensive Spanish course. I had a double knee replacement 2 weeks ago and got the sign-off from the consultant on Tuesday. I can fly from next month. Now I just have to arrange which airport to fly to to meet her. Only flown once on my own before

 

Should be some good material for La Nouveau Cheesique thread coming up. Were they stainless steel knee implants - should cause some fun going though the security checks?

 

If I get back in one piece The knees are chromium and titanium with plastic in the middle. The hip is titanium and something else. I've got one in my neck as well. Not even going to mention them at Manchester airport

 

You've got a knee in your neck!!!! You want to sue the Doctor who did that.

 

I was in Turkey last week on holiday and came across one of those Turkish bath houses. They shaved with a solid steel stoneground razor from below the neckline, inside the ears, snipped out nose hairs, waxed off chest hair and plucked all the hairs out of the arse crack, all finished off with a moustache trim and alcohol rub.

Honestly, the wife's never looked so good.

 

If anyone fancies a trip to East Africa (Ngorongoro Crater, the wildebeest crossing over to Serengeti, Kilimanjaro Mountain Climbing, tree-climbing lions in Tarangire, Zanzibar Islands etc, etc, etc) I might be able to assist.
