Pissed of as had to stick here instead of going to Caen to see my grandson in a football tournament. Still, wife and daughter been keeping me up to date. They won their group. Won through to the semi after a penalty shoot out (grandson scored with his penalty). Won their semi-final and won the final after a penalty shoot out (grandson scored with his penalty). All in all a good day. Another tournament on Sunday (an all age affair with my other grandson in the U9 team)
Sure is. He only came off once (injured) and they went 1-0 down while he was off. He was sent back on nearing the end and he orchestrated the equaliser to force the penalty shoot out which they won to go through to the semi final. Not sure whose most elated though to be honest
Yep, pretty immature physically too whereas the winner looks a brute. Easy to see why he was backed so heavily on course.
