Just saying we have a great first team coach Ramsey....and now a scout of great pedigree Penrice... If Ollie goes and takes with him...we are back to square one...
And what does it says to the kids he has been nuturing.
And paying Ollie off will seriously dent our careful FFP budget

Am repeating I am not happy...
But come on uRrr

Ferdinand not Holloway brought those people to QPR. Ramsey has had to prop up first team coaching for the last few months.

If you trust Ferdinand and Hoos, you should trust this decision. Holloway, a genuine character, hugely committed, highly emotional, a ‘fan’ was sadly never going to take the team much further forward. Presumably Ferdinand and Hoos have the next bloke lined up because whoever it is fits the new QPR ethos. If it’s McLaren it doesn’t get me dancing on the table, but let’s give whoever it is a chance. Unless it’s Redknapp of course.

And like with Holloway we shouldn't knock the new manager because it's not his team. He will need time.

Here we go again. The roller coaster that is QPR.

The official message is very war, friendly and 'always welcome back at LR with open arms' etc. Possibly more to this than we'll ever know but, for now, I would also take McClaren from that list. Coleman as second choice then not much to choose between the other two.

To be fair to TF and Co, it feels like they have a plan, especially in giving the new man the whole of the summer to get things right.

I just hope we see some decent signings coming in.

I’d be more than happy for McClaren to join the coaching staff but not as manager. He’s not a manager, but a pretty good coach. Holloway was a decent manager, but him and Birch as coaches...not in my view.

I wonder if they are doing this (assuming that 'they' did this and not Ollie himself) as a result of realising they should have sacked Harry after Wembley?

Just a thought. Probably not as different people and different circumstances.

Well at least its not Megson.

Would have loved Derek McInness from Aberdeen - but the times when we could poach him are long gone.

Someone that once managed England being appointed at QPR - creating this much apathy - speaks volumes about the dearth of talent in this country

Think it’s done in a poor way especially when IH said he was looking forward to next season & poss extending his contract, good luck to what ever he does in the future.

With transfer deadline day on 9th August, need to get someone in place quickly to assess the squad and bring in what we need, with whatever funds available! Loans I think out to 31 August for EFL.
Wish Ollie all the best, love the passion!

Good luck for the future Ollie.
I didn't see many games (but I heard every commentary), I listened to comments and read match summaries here and I accept the football wasn't always great but he has turned the club around (or started the process) and kept us up.
I remain an Ollie fan for his years of dedication as a player and manager to our club and I say Thank you Mr. Holloway.
