I have no intention of it wiz, I just wanted to draw a line there. Happy to discuss City and Cardiff but arguments are just drawing me away from here in all honesty. Tired of it now.
Don't get upset Rob - this is a discussion thread and everyone has a valid point of view. I'm not getting "massively defensive" at all, just standing my corner in a discussion. RR mentioned my club not me, and the benefits it will receive through promotion to the Prem - you chose to argue with him. Wiz - nobody is ruining a thread - please and let posters talk to each other on this forum without you interfering.
I'll decide when to intervene on this forum, if you don't like it tough, keep away, we've been there before with you many times, we all know, you want to defend your club, stand your corner and be a key board warrior, you won't get any more pointless requests from me, I'll just delete you if it is causing nausious irritations.
Your two previous posts to me were unnecessarily rude. I'm not even biting or looking for an argument, I'm just trying to stop one before it occurs. I have no qualms about mentioning Cardiff here, it's that your posts were rude, end of. I thought wiz was approaching me rather than you and has done nothing but allow people to discuss properly, so your post to him is unnecessary as well. To get back to the topic, I didn't at any point say that I didn't think Cardiff were 'guilty', so I don't know why you thought I said the opposite.
You are unbelievable. It's clearly a personal thing with me and nothing to do with the discussions. Why don't you just back off and let posters get on with it?
Rob - this is a football chat forum and nothing to do with being rude at all. Posters should discuss issues in the open and be prepared to take in opposite points of view without getting upset.

It's his job to intervene when necessary. I'm now not responding to any more posts that aren't related to the topic itself.
Let's all get along there is very few of us on here,i like debating with fellow fans ours and others. We all have different views which makes it interesting.
I agree with you RR, debate is great, pointless arguing is tedious, I'm truly greatful it appears to have calmed down, long may it be.
RR - without wishing to derail the thread (heaven help that ) I'm not sure that was a wise move by Swanase unless they have someone already in mind.
Wolves used the three year loss allowance to good effect. They was in the black two years prior to this season. So they used the three year loss buffer to go nuts this year, banking on securing promotion. If they failed then they would have to go another two years without being in the red. To me they played the FFP game well.
Seems to me if you stick within FFP rules your chances of gaining promotion are slim , without parachute payments as well it's nigh on impossible. The question is stick within them & not gain promotion , or go for it hoping to get promotion and avoid paying the price , at least until you get relegated to the championship again and then use some of your parachute payments to pay the fine, or am I being cynical.
Ashton - Parachute payments can only be used to directly fund the running of a club, viz committed player contract wages and staffing costs etc. They cannot be used to reduce debt, repay loans or fund financial penalties.
