No way we can rest all. That would be 3 weeks between games and we would be rusty totally before final

May be bring them on for 30-40 minutes in the second half but starting them and one of them getting a hamstring or any other injury would be disastrous.

nah... warm them up with rest of team in controlled way then bring them off.

it's the best way to do it.

I still think if Wilson and grujic can come in itd be great but am not sure.

Well if it was 99.9%, Brighton would be 1000/1 to win. They'll probably will be 10/1 or something so there's a 1 in 10 chance that they'll win.

Given our awful form the last few games, I'm surprised at our confidence that Brighton will just roll over for us. I know that I'm one of the more pessimistic on here but still... <laugh>

Play our strongest team. Rest nobody. There's a two week break before the CL final ffs.

All that said, If our best 11 can't beat Brighton at home on the last day of the season then I fear for them against Madrid in Kiev.

    1. For financial reasons only.

And at the moment, the silly money in the PL may even render
CL participation less important (to the "Sky 4" who profited
on and off pitch from that piggy trough for close to two decades) .

    2. If you value the CL trophy more than domestic cups, you
cannot even participate unless you finished in the PL top 4 the
    previous season.

    Define "the Sky 4"?

If you are saying that the 2 Manchester clubs, Chelsea and us get the more games televised and more publicity then yeah, but that's earned by success past or present, which Spurs haven't had a lot of in the old or new eras of the game.
Did/have Spurs had their fair share of the the tv money?
Man City could only rise to the top because of wealthy owners prepared to throw what it takes at it to do it, I'd say it's your over frugal billionaire owner that's prevented Spurs kicking on in terms of success because let's face it, finishing top 4 is only good for the owners bank account unless you actually use the money to win the CL(or at least reach a final or 3).

Yes that's fair enough but you used same argument of qualify for CL more important than trying to win same tournament.

We are in final of cl yet you seem concerned in qualifying for damn thing.

I don't think it makes any difference personally if we make top 4 or win cl which is why we should go all out for no 6 :)

Klopp will identify players with right attitude regardless.

For years Arsenal / Chelsea / Liverpool / Man Utd got significant
extra revenue than other PL clubs merely by participating in the CL,
not because they actually won the CL, or PL. Which by definition
helped increase the "vicious circle" for the other PL clubs.

For example, Spurs earned 40m odd in the 2011 CL campaign
for nothing more than reaching the QFs.

In 20 odd seasons of English clubs being back in UEFA land, only five
clubs outside of the "Sky 4" have been in the CL. Three of them for
one season only, and the others (Citeh and Spurs) for at least three
    seasons.

Go figure (the financial advantages accrued in aiding the domestic
    league campaigns) .

Is it our fault you have a tight owner?

TV money has helped you out. Before you was a chelsea with no bottomless pit to buy things.

Mocking clubs for seeking to get their noses in a particular
piggy trough that you and others benefited significantly
from in support of your domestic league campaigns, is
    just embarrassing.

"TV money has helped you out. Before you was a chelsea with no bottomless pit to buy things."

Chelsea were performing sufficiently well in the PL to
repeatedly qualify for the CL, well before they won the
    oil money lottery.

By Sky Four, I assume you mean Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea?

So the five would be Newcastle, Blackburn, Leeds, Spurs & Man City?

Everton flirted with the qualifiers too

We've only qualified for the CL 10 times since the change of format and are in our 3rd final, 3 finals, 1 semi-final, 3 quarter finals, we've earned our money in that tournament.
Man U, 2 wins, 4 finals etc and Chelsea 1 win, 2 finals etc, Arsenal 1 final etc.
Where's the problem for Spurs with the above?
If a club isn't good enough to qualify for any given tournament by the rules they shouldn't be in it, that's been Spurs problem not those who were good enough.

How do you think we've been able to compete financially in our many years without CL money?, we have better sponsorships/partners, a better marketable product than Spurs, sell more merchandise than Spurs, have a subscription tv channel all without the income you've moaned about.

What makes you Spuds think you deserve a place at the top table without earning it first?

    Correct.

Notable that two of those five had an unsustainable
financial regime, and have plunged into the wilderness.

We got seven players, two who are still with the club
and helped Spurs to make a PL title challenge two
    seasons in succession.

I'll spare you by not asking likewise about Suarez ...
