You want Toby to stay, but he won’t, so that’s a lie.

Your wage structure will be your undoing, Levy will have to either smash the ceiling he’s put in place or accept that your top players will want to move on. You’ve got away with it for a couple of years now, it won’t continue.

That is a lot different from saying nobody will be sold who they want to keep.

I think it's absolutely inevitable that you'll lose one this summer. Possibly Alli to City, maybe Eriksen to PSG, that's aside from Alderweireld and Rose.

I also think Chelsea will be under pressure from their own players this summer. ****e like Fabregas, Rudiger and Moses will want to stay and players like Hazard and Courtois may want away, it could be a busy summer for whoever replaces the wig wearing tranny, and this summer is as short as it gets with the WC and a shorter window.

I reckon Mourinho has virtually completed United's business and we should be ready to go nice and early this time round.

  7. No one knows what’s going on with Toby. Perhaps he’s pricing himself out of our wage structure, or perhaps it’s to do with something else, no one knows.

Perhaps he’ll be our next player to put in a transfer request. Who knows. These things happen.

You cannot extrapolate from one case (the facts of which you don’t know anyway) what will or might happen in other cases.

To do so would be foolish.

Nope, we do know what’s going on with him, you’ve made him an offer and he’s refused it, as he knows he can get a better contract elsewhere.

Also, it blows away the comment that you’ll supposedly 100% keep the players that you want to keep, as you want to keep him, but your wage structure will see you lose him.

It’s a simple fact that he’ll be the first of a number of Spurs players to go the same way - unless Levy changes his stance. You can’t argue against that, as it’s simply how it works.

Courtois can go anyway, he's been sulking the past year.

Hazard is a brilliant player but has 0 urgency/deadliness/teamwork. He's not good enough to be like Aguero, Ronaldo or Messi.

We need to build round someone new.

you've got it all wrong toby.

Levy sells no one he doesn't want to sell.

They don't like their wages? Levy chooses to sell them.

They hand in a transfer request, Levy thinks its a great sale.

It's a fact that Spurs wanted to sell Walker last year as Spurs don't sell to rivals

  12. Again, we don’t know the full story.

Alderweireld has been injured, and hasn’t been at anywhere near his usual standards.

Perhaps we’ve offered him a “wait and see” deal? Or perhaps we’ve offered him a shorter extension on his existing contract than he wants?

    No one knows.

If Levy/Poch want to keep him then he will stay.

  13. This is yet another reason why Spurs will be even less inclined to sell our best players.

    What a load of ****e.

If you don’t put enough cash on the table, he’ll leave, simple as, it’ll not be the choice of Levy, the players hold al the cards these days, it’s how it works.

You’re deluded if you believe Spurs are somehow unique in the modern football market, as they aren’t.

    The 'Spurseyness' continues:

Top 4 better than a trophy according to Lloris:

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43339977

'We're as good as the other who didn't win the league:' Very Spursy:

"To finish above Arsenal and Chelsea means a lot. Maybe from the outside no-one expected us to be in the top four again this season. We showed character and we showed we are strong as a team."

^a classic example of low expectations and the small club mentality which still grips Tottenham.

No winding up intended there pal, your club failed miserably to deliver a trophy yet again. Do you have a single good reason as to why they'd want to stay at Spurs when there's silverware and more money out there, only Kane would have a loyalty that may keep him, of your 'top players'.

They’ve got away it in the last couple of seasons as their prime assets were young and Spurs were selling the idea of the club building something. Only they’ve drawn a blank yet again, they needed a pot this season, they've fallen short again, this is where the break up of that side starts....

Fab will move on as his legs have gone at top level, Ruddier is one of the best backs in Britain and has been a revelation. Moses is worth keeping but Conte doesn't fancy following Jose at United.

  20. Stop being so rattled, Tobias!

My argument is perfectly reasonable, and cannot by any stretch of the imagination be said to be dismissed as being nothing more than “****e.”

We don’t know the specifics. That is a fact, whether you like it or not.

Perhaps he will leave, but to immediately conclude that Levy could not have made him stay had he or Poch wanted him to stay is irrational.
