Spurs seem to have a lack of ambition and a small club mentality which is why you'll always find them comparing their performance to other teams in the league who also didn't win the league and deeming that a success rather than looking above them.

Spurs fans haven't had the luxury of playing for trophies over the last 15-20 years like other clubs have, so this is winning. They ain't gonna be depressed finishing 3rd, when most of them are used to scrapping for a top half finish and relegation dogfights.

All he has to say is 'We don't want a player who doesn't want to be here', and hey presto, you don't want them to stay at the club and you can sell them.

 

That sounds fine in principle, but can’t work in practice.

No top Prem side would get rid of players like Kane, Eriksen, Alli, Lloris, Vertoghen, Davinson, Moura, Son, etc. Therefore, Levy won’t be able to get rid of them.

Also, contrary to the crap that is uttered by the wums on this board, Levy never willingly sells his best players.
