Everybody stated in the year where they finished 3rd in a 2 horse race that if they had real ambitions as a club to challenge for the title they would need to make at least 2 marquee signings and strengthen what is a small squad. Needless to say that never happened although they did finish bridesmaids to Chelsea last year but have slipped back since. With a new ground to be financed and players like Toby, Dembele & Rose leaving in the summer it's not looking a healthy prospect but we shall have to wait and see.
