With Cardiff being promoted and the Blues winning the European Challenge Cup, and with the Swans (about to be) relegated and the Ospreys struggling, it pains me to say it but Swansea has been displaced as the Sporting Capital of Wales.....
Well hopefully the Yanks will invest - I hear the Ospreys are to regain their position as Wales leading Region
Thats sport in a nutshell...You have your ups and downs and we have had a good decade but you must have known it will never last. I never thought we would last our first season but we did and every season since has been a Bonus and now we are back in the championship where we deserve to be after poor performances these last few seasons.....Who is to blame ? Well you can blame a multiple of factors over a number of seasons and now we have to start again and not rush things but make sure we get things right.....Our first target is to have a big clear out those who we can because some are still on contract and may not want to take a lesser wage and there are others who will want to leave anyway. and the second target is to recruit the right players early and the third target is to stay in the championship while we take our time rebuilding...Spending one or two seasons will do the club good and a reality check that we must learn from our mistakes...
Fair comments Dai, with the caveat that is's not "we will learn from our mistakes", but "the Board will learn from their mistakes"
