Actually I don’t agree with this prediction, but you will be amazed how well thought of our manager is outside Ashton Gate. Besides, it’s silly season now and there will be loads of these.
Far, far, far, far, far too early to predict - some of these sides (particularly the relegated teams) will have a completely different line-up come the start of the new season. I'd take it if it were on offer though!
He’s taken it off Facebook, if you join the championship banter page you will soon find out it’s overrun by mongs. Following it has made me hate Villa (who I always liked for some reason) as their fans are complete bellends and one Cardiff fan who makes me puke everytime I see he’s commented.
The bookies have us rated joint 4th in the betting odds alongside the likes of Birmingham, Hull, Sheffield United and Wigan. https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport.../bookmakers-already-say-bristol-citys-1547938
Quite right Nick there will be plenty of twists and turns before the season starts with transfers in and out. Second bloody hell I would take that. If the Crown Jewels are sold and no quality arrives we are in a relegation scrap.
We don’t even know who will be in our league yet for sure - and nobody has bought or sold any players.
Interesting, given three from villa, Middlesbrough, Fulham and derby will still be in the mix. Suppose they don't know which so won't be quoting odds on any of those yet.
Oh ffs. The poor ‘Johnson out’ deluded fools think that if he goes we will replace him with a well respected high profile manager and take the league by storm - attracting some big name players to Ashton Gate. Have they learnt nothing watching City since the 1980s? What they WANT and what would happen are very different indeed. How many more flirtations with League 1 is needed before people wake up and smell the coffee? Johnson is here for the long term - and liking it isn’t a requirement. It’s fact - whether liked or not. He is only likely to go if we get relegated - PLEASE don’t tell me they would wish for that so he goes?
I'm useless at predictions , but I have to say I see next season being much more difficult than this , partly because we kind of sneaked up on teams this season, next season we won't be able to do this , it will depend a lot on comings and goings as there does seem more of a potential for some our better players to depart this season than previously, if this happens we must replace them with players of at least a similar , or hopefully, a better standard. I believe we need some experienced players on top of what we all ready have. GON was bought for this purpose, but on the field at least he has not had the impact ide hoped for, he's been injured a lot but even when fit he's not even been in the squad let alone the starting 11 , I really don't know understand why. We Since Christmas you'd have thought his experience could have helped prevent some of our collapses , I've lost track , is he still injured?
