I work with Leicester fan. He reckons most of the 20 odd years he's been supporting them have been rubbish, but worth it all for that one season of glory.
Anyone meeting up in the Guide Dog before the game on Sunday? I haven’t got a ticket, but I fancy meeting a few of the “old gang” if anyone’s around!
He still looks the same...bond villainish...i hope his colour blindness doesn't rear it's ugly head again....that with malky ruined our last chances in the prem a few years back.
tbh at the time I thought if we are gonna change colour lets at least get a kit everyone would love...boca juniors river plate south American style sort of thing........but no we had a fking red shirt made by happy shopper
Just like to mention something else Gabbiadini gave to the team, other than the goal, when he came on. We suddenly had a player who could receive the ball, with his back to defenders, who could hold onto it, and shield it with his body, buying a bit of time. The only other player we have, who can do that, is Tadic. I would love to see a playing system that gave him more time on the pitch.
Saints in Wales since return to the Prem: vs Swansea Draw 0-0 Win 0-1 Win 0-1 Win 0-1 Lose 2-1 Win 0-1 vs Cardiff Win 0-3 That's 16pts from a possible 21. So let's hope Swansea stay up! And hopefully Wrexham, Merthyr Tydfil, and Newport can all start racing up the divisions.
Mate in 20 years that will be a collector's item, especially with the new trend of hipster footie shirt collectors. Personally I like it when clubs get a bit bold. Some teams just use the same crap shirt every season. Whack a bloody sash or chevron on it for ****'s sake!
Not to mention Mold Alexandra! I fell in love with the name when I was a kid and called my Subbuteo team after them.
Didn't Ireland win it about six years on the trot, back in the day? We were taking the piss, voting for you every time
Funny thing is, the best team who actually play in the Welsh Prem, is The New Saints. Although they are now based in England (Shropshire), as if it wasn't all confusing enough.
Clubs shouldn't tamper with these things. We basically had a Liverpoool kit for two seasons, and look where that got us.
