We need some skill. That last few games of this season, it was heart that got us through. We need some skill as well. Aggianst Reading, nobody looked Prem standard. I am a bit nervous about this transfer period.

Bryson 1st would be a definite for me. The bloke gives 110% every time he plays and would be a brilliant squad player. Aaron Ramsey would be far too expensive for what we could afford and will be most likely staying put (depending on the new manager), I can't see Joe Allen wanting to even entertain the thought of being a Cardiff player considering his jack routes, but he is very much indeed a "Warnock style player".

Id like to see etheridge given first chance at playing between the sticks. He's earned the right to.
Then we've got Camp coming back, so why do we need another keeper? :emoticon-0104-surpr

Hoping that we'll start hearing about players leaving quite quickly as well. Not sure we'll want any players we've loaned out back. Boggle might be a 'project' , but think he's blotted his copy book with Warnock somewhere down the line.

I think Camp will be sold after his disasterous loan with Sunderland. Bogle out, Halford out, Kadeem may have also seen his last days as a City player, also Rhys Healey.

Read on the main boards about Rondon from WBA.

Jury’s out for me on him.

    Definitely need a proven goalscorer.

Will be interested to see if Ken can make the step up.
While he's a big lad he doesn't seem to be a bullying 9. Colin has said he gets out muscled by defenders. Not sure he'll get that treatment in the big league so he might flourish.

I'd like to hope that Ken will flourish in the big time.

Me too, but can we afford to take the chance?

Wouldn't want to try finding someone in January if he doesn't come off or we could end up with another "Madine type" signing in desperation.

Agree with that, but would like to see him on the bench every week, at least. His issue is his lack of goals.. He's strong and pacey, but just doesn't score enough. I think if Ken could use his attributes and bang some in from set pieces as well, he'd be a problem for teams.

Another that has worked with Warnock before. Pretty sure that will work in our favour.

A mis-firing striker, but if Colin sees something in him I'm sure he'll only improve.

One thing is for certain. They'll all have a bit of dog about them.

McArthur would be a brilliant signing.

Agreed! Having played such a large part in Palarse staying up, why would they let go?

If we’re going to spend ££££ creativity in the midfield and up front has to be the priority. If you can take anything from the Swans struggle this season then it is the need to be able to score that will keep us up. Would love to be proven wrong but I don’t think Zohore has enough goals in him <ok>

And 3 weeks before whoever wins the playoffs. :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Could be a boring pre-season if Warnock gets all his business done in the first couple of days that the window is open.
However, that type of boring I could live with. <cheers>

Wonder where his first preseason game will be this year. Got as far as Taffs Well last year.

Ton Pentre maybe? Or my home town, Porth Welfare (oops, AFC Porth). Can see their old pitch from my mam's house.
