Who gets the last spot then? Huddersfield 3 points ahead of Swansea with a game in hand but 2 goal worse goal difference. However, their game in hand is Chelsea with final game being Wenger's Arsenal! Swansea have to beat Stoke at home or go down. Winning and Huddersfield losing both games would bring it down to goal difference which is in Swansea's favour. Swansea vs Stoke is the key game.
Hoping Hudds can nick another point tonight somehow so Swansea v Stoke can just be 90 minutes of the whole stadium* calling their players ****s. *half the stadium
I think it'll pan out that Huddersfield lose both games but Swansea fail to score yet again against Stoke and go down anyway. Swansea deserve to go down for the way they have played in the last eight games but Huddersfield are not a premier league club or team and are the ones who really belong in the championship.
Probably wouldn’t work in practice but I’d like to see any team who can’t average a point a game go and give someone else a chance to be ****e rather than this race for 17th every year being hailed as a victory.
The table decides after 38 games who's a PL club and who's not even if its by a single goal's difference. At the same time I'd rather see Huddersfield stay up because its the English Premier League
It’s not all about you, Archie. We were part of that same dross for a few seasons. If we are going to have this increasing gap between the top six and the rest, at least make it interesting.
Yeah, I get that but that's not my point. In the same was a Bradford and Barnsley before them were not premier league clubs, neither are Huddersfield. Nice little season long away day but now they should disappear back from whence they came. And no one will notice.
That's rather an arrogant position to take though Chief. I think the likes of Burnley and Bournemouth have proved that small well-managed clubs can compete with most PL teams on their day and deserve their place in the PL. The PL shouldn't be some cosy little private club, there for the benefit of the priviledged few.
I’ve still got high hopes for Stoke, in one last massive “**** you” to Hughes, scoring ten own goals while you concede a last minute winner.
