Not really, people have been saying how poor this board is atm. Thought one positive was that people aren’t vehemently defending the board and pretending everything is ok. Realism, and I for one am ecstatic.
Whoa calm down. I’m not blaming anyone for anything. This is not a personal attack on anyone who has defended the board. The struggle this season has made even the die hards admit the board have been poor, there’s been less of this squabbling. You don’t like my post, fair enough, but it’s hard to argue with the content.
I am so delirious today, I honestly would mind a double interview of Ralph & Maurico taking credit for our survival. Nothing will get me down this week.
I am calm. I’m filled with joy. Jus don’t see why people need to look for any kind of angst in a day like today. Let’s be friends and have a big hug Come on you saints.
I'm too busy enjoying the aftermath to worry about all the issues that are well-documented and well-known around the ownership, the board and the general mismanagement of facets of the club in recent months. That is all. Back to basking in this weird, twisted glory.
My wife laid out on the sofa half-asleep (kick off was 10.45pm here) and sleepily said around the 68 min; "Saints are going to score soon" - this was a time of concerted pressure around our penalty box with a couple of corners to defend... l sat frowning at her... the rest is history as they say. Suffice to say after the goal l had the "told you so". After which she promptly fell asleep and had to be woken at the end of the game!
I hope environmental health in Swansea get onto the Marriott hotel very quickly for putting their customers at risk of being infected by a virus about which the hotel had full knowledge. They were more concerned about the health of footballers than they were about the health of the general public and this shows a complete lack of care and concern for people's health and is unacceptable. Such irresponsible behaviour must not go unpunished. A substantial fine for such lack of care and concern is the least the public can expect. The hotel must now be closed temporarily while a full and deep clean is undertaken. I have now written to environmental health in Swansea about this matter.
I can't imagine that Marriott HQ will be very pleased by the negative publicity either. Whatever the facts, the whole thing was very badly handled but you know what? I'm still on a high from last night so I don't care!!!!!!!!
