Swansea still have a chance if they beat Stoke and Huddersfield lose both their games. No reason to dislike Huddersfield, but hope Swansea make it.
Wonder what odds you would have gotten for Pompey failing to make the playoff's and Southampton to survive just 5 weeks ago..
Sorry if mentioned before, but Hughes decided that the team would walk to the stadium when told they'd have to stay on the coach for another 25 mins whilst Swansea coach was unloaded. I like the cut of his jib. I'm presuming that he will be staying next season....keeping us up was the most important job (virtually tick)...getting us back to the team we were is another challenge. Hope our new owner gives him the support he needs. Anyway time to enjoy today, survive Sunday and then move on to the World Cup. Happiness is finding a forgotten slice of pizza in the fridge.
Watching swans reminded me of us during our barren patch in front of goal. possession, crosses, half chances, and no good shots on target. its why i was so confident at half time we were the more likely to score because its what happened to us every time we played like that.
I wish the players hadn’t spoken about it the way they did in the interviews after. I know they were filled with emotion but they really should be wanted not to say we’re safe or we’re not giving up a 10 goal swing. Wouldn’t want to tempt City into trying. Just bing them a few quid and give them a 2-0 win
