I gotta admit that I had us down before the Bournemouth game, so I'm willing to eat humble pie now. This can now be described as the greatest escape of them all. After the crushing blow of blowing a 2 goal lead against Chelsea we were 5 points adrift and it was difficult to see how we were going to actually overcome the mental block to win another match, let alone at least 2 more. A massive well done to Sparky and his staff, they have altered the course of our destiny and the players have acknowledged it too. There look like a togetherness and spirit in the squad nor witnessed for a while and those things can take you a long way in football. Can't wait for August now!...COYR

I know Stoke fans really hate Hughes, but have you seen their squad, and the one Hughes inherited? He made miracles happen with them when they finished top 10 three times in a row. Everyone slated the appointment of Ranieri at Leicester etc. Sometimes Mangers and teams just fit. Not saying that us in the long term but Stoke declined even further when Hughes left 4 MONTHS ago...
