my subs: Long for Redmond, Gabbi for Charlie, JWP for Romeu (and anyone for Hoedt but we can only have 3)
Well that was a completely and utterly dire half of football. Swansea the better side, but both sides dire. Same issues around Austin. You want him on the pitch, because he knows where the net is. You want him off the pitch, because he can't do anything else. The Ayew's are in our faces all the time. Whereas Swansea just walk it past Austin in playing it out.
Doubt it. Our midfield really tired towards the end of the half because they make you work hard. We will need fresh faces in midfield not too far into second half.
Stick Carrillo and Long on, go 442 big man little man. May as well go out with an ode to the good ol' days!
Definitely, though Swansea knows exactly what they're doing...despite not exactly having front line of Peter Crouches, they're standing every ball up in our box, because the scouting report on our defense is that sooner or later, they're going to fluff one. Or several.
yup, its whether they will score from one of these many half chances created from the wings or we will from one of our fewer, clearer chances on the counter through the middle.
