The latest name linked to us on the managerial rumour mill is Tim Sherwood. God help us all if it actually happens.

If Sherwood is incharge, I will do the Bristol City game / meet up with the SW club.

I'd go to the pub to watch us on tv - however, unless he's not become a total c unit......... which I don't think he's capable of - that'd be it with me going live until he leaves the club.

    I cannot stand him.

Nothing to do with Norwich connection, more his comments when incharge at Villa on if he'd be upset if they went down. ' Not my problem ' or something like this he said. You just cannot say that. I wouldn't want him anywhere near the club.

He reminds me of someone thinking he's nails / cockney / ALRIGHT GUVVVNORRR without remotely being able to pull it off. Absolute mong.

For me certainly with Sherwood nothing to do with him being x Norwich, he's just an absolute c unit of highest proportions.

Royle really ( unfairly ) had a massive issue winning over a good %%%% of fans due to Norwich connection. Very petty. Quality manager and a good guy.

Another name that is being mentioned is Paul Tisdale, mainly because his deal at Exeter ends soon (November apparently) and is being linked to the MK dons job. Personally I think he is far better than MK, who will be in L2 anyway next season and therefore the link to us seemed to be a bit of a journalist making assumptions.

I think I've championed Tisdale every time we've been looking for a new manager since we sacked Jim, though not as sure about him as I have been before. He has done wonders down there, but has fallen out with a section of the supporters (sound familiar) and is possibly a bit 'institutionalised' having been there for 14 years. Would definitely see him as a positive appointment but also think there are probably better candidates out there now.

Gareth Ainsworth (Wycombe) now odds on favourite to be appointed at QPR.. Even though Holloway is still in post.

He was a name that was briefly mentioned in connection with us and has had a wonderful season in League 2. Would seem a very un-QPR like appointment, but would inevitably start the rumour of Holloway to ITFC, however difficult to read that would be.

He played for QPR so it would make sense for Ainsworth to return.

Tisdale has always been a "very nearly" man in my opinion.

Do you think Evans has a preferred shortlist in mind? Apparently we've had over 100 applicants for the position, although I wonder how many of those are joke applications by fellow supporters? I think both Hurst and Burley will make the 'next stage', if there is a next stage of interviews.

Westy, what I was disappointed with was the use of the word "scum", I often take the mick out of Ipswich, but only in a gentle, mocking way , ie "Binner's" or, a few years ago "1p5wich"

Rowett is first choice so nothing will be done until Evans is sure he can’t/won’t get him........according to all sources....
