I hope this may be helpful to any Fulham fans travelling to Derby by road for the game on 3rd March, parking is available for away fans on 2 sites [100 and 400 yards from the stadium] at £6 per car/van [sorry no coaches].

Presuming most will travel via the M1, leave at JCT25 and head towards Derby on the A52 [Brian Clough Way], about 1 mile past the SPONDON/ASDA exit is the slip road to PRIDE PARK, take care as there is a pedestrian crossing immediately after the sharp bend as well as roadworks associated with the redevelopment of the Fireplace Workshop [no longer available for parking].

Go past the North end of the stadium to the 3rd island [opposite the Clough/Taylor statue] and turn right into RIVERSIDE ROAD, about 60 yards on the right is the FRENGER SYSTEMS car park, this is handier for the elderly and less agile supporters.

For those who may wish to eat/drink before the game, continue along Riverside Road to the last unit on the left hand side, the PRIDE VETERINARY CENTRE car park is handier for the away friendly hostelries [ask one of the attendants for details].

When leaving this car park after the game I would advise that you turn left and go left around the block back towards the stadium to avoid congestion should you turn right.

I hope this helps, have a safe journey. <ok>

UPDATE: The areas around the stadium have been cleared of snow and gritted this morning, the approach to the stadium from the A52 has also been gritted, the local forecast for tomorrow is 'POSSIBLE LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS', be careful folks.
Latest News: Within the last half hour the club, police and all relevant parties have declared that the game is definitely on.

Unlike Sheffield Utd who called off their game against Burton yesterday. Which of course from a Fulham perspective 'aint so good, since we play them on Tuesday night.

The same details apply for the Play-off game on Friday night, you should also be aware that there are lane closures on the A52 around the Pride Park slip road area, I would advise you allow a little extra time as they could cause congestion and delays.

    Have a safe journey folks.<ok>

If they get a virus in the camp this week, you can bet it will either snow, or the tarmac will have melted with the heat making it unsafe.....<laugh><laugh>

At this moment I've got my lads working on ways to jam the sprinkler system on 'Full Spray' for Friday afternoon, also my spy at the Training Ground has 3 x 5ltr bottles of Syrup of Figs ready to spike the players' meals on Thursday, I will update you on any further developments.

LATEST NEWS: THE M1 WILL BE CLOSED COMPLETELY [BOTH WAYS] BETWEEN JCT 23 AND JCT24 FROM 10pm TONIGHT.

Apparently they are installing a new bridge, they say that diversions will be clearly signed but that drivers must expect long delays.
