I heard that on the news this morning and thought about the Cardiff game. We could see Philips/Fer and Austin all back in the Championship next year.
Hoping for a Charlie/Southampton win. If they're winning, they need to watch for Welshmen directing sheep onto the pitch.
Tonight for one night only I think we'll all be Swansea fans........... The laugh will be mighty if Mark "I've never been relegated" Hughes takes 2 sides down this season......
I'm actually hoping for a Southampton win, Trammers. I've always had a bit of a soft spot for them and - whilst I'm no fan of his - I don't share the general loathing of Hughes. I reserve that for Redknapp.
Me too. I'm a Charlie fan and would like to see him score the goals that keep them up and keep him in the Premiership.
Must admit that ordinarily I wouldn't have any problem with Saints staying up, but since they appointed Hughes all goodwill went out the window. I have equal loathing of Hughes and Kneecap........
I'm hoping for the unlikely - a draw tonight and then for both Saints and Swansea to get tonked and relegated on goal difference with Stoke at the weekend, when West Brom win by a few at Palace.
Tricky one. Charlie - good. Hughes - not good. Swans - tonked us horribly 1st game of season a few back (was it 1st in PL??) but their manager seems level headed bloke. Normally I decide by who I think we are more likely to beat in the Championship. Gnats whisker between them for that so I'll go with a Southampton win for Charlie's sake and because I actually felt sorry for them with a goal at 96+ mins. Hughes terrible etc etc. He is what he is. So long as no where near our club, 'I ain't bovvered'.
Yepp! It doesn't look like any of these 3 will have opponents with much to play for Sunday, so who knows.
My lads at Uni about 10 minutes from St Mary's so Southampton in the championship would be an easy away game. I'd also like Hughes to be responsible for two clubs going down in the same season.
I too have a soft spot for Southampton, but since they scraped the bottom of the barrel by appointing Hughes I would like to see them relegated. If nothing else, just to hear the "tosh" that Hughes will come out with. It will be everyone else's fault and nothing to do with him.
