Sorry, I've not been one of Bertie's biggest fans this season, but that quite frankly is ridiculous, no offence.

We'd prefer that to a draw!

Balls. My boss just phoned as I was due to drive to Manchester today to pick him up. He’s missed his flight and isn’t coming. :(

I suspect that you are correct - My 'loose cannon' comment was produced by rather too much wine, rather than a genuine belief that Ryan would do such a thing. Sorry.

Bertrand apologised and hoped to play better tomorrow, so pretty sure he wants us to stay up.

You'd need to lay on a lot of paramedics for the fans. The casualty rate would be high

As long as the Sky Main Event channel match is different to the Sky PL channel match (which you would presume will be the case), then I'd imagine we'll likely to be on TV. I appreciate that there's also the battle for the top four, but Sky do (rightly in my view) tend to prioritise a final day relegation battle over a final day top four battle.

In terms of picking three teams from two, I'd suggest Sky would show us and Swansea if we draw tomorrow tomorrow, or us and Huddersfield if we lose tomorrow (and Huddersfield lose to Chelsea), or Huddersfield and Swansea if we win tomorrow (and Huddersfield lose to Chelsea).

(Although if we win tomorrow and Huddersfield avoid defeat, then Sky might revert back to the top four, because realistically that would mean Swansea relegated due to GD).

I´d have Gabbiadini for Austin. Loads more talent and pace and can score goals. It is so sad that he had been totally ignored, unless he is a troublemaker in which case my writing is in error.

A sunny August day. Match 1 of the 2017-18 season. Swansea, the visitors and despite nearly 30 shots we came away with a 0-0.

The season held great anticipation, a new manager on the back of a cup final and 8th place finish.

Who would have thought it, forward to game 37, the importance of it A game to define our future. This time tomorrow we will have an idea what that future will be. The players have given us recent hope, others have conspired to take that hope away. We still have a shout, one final big push, make us proud.

6th place and top 8 finishes are lovely but doesn't beat the emotion of a great escape.

I am booking one big party for Sunday with rehearsals Tuesday.

    Up the ****ing saints <cheers>
