Which is why they will get a chance in preseason!

I'm not sure thry can both come in next week or not. Their loan clubs are done now.

My point was more that they could look like Messi in pre- season, it'll still mean precisely squat.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits he would be interested in Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele, who joined the Catalan giants in a £135m deal last summer, if the 20-year-old became available.
Liverpool have played down reports from France that they have agreed a deal to sign Lyon captain Nabil Fekir, . (Liverpool Echo)
Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Liverpool FC will look to sign at least two more players in the summer transfer window.

The Fekir links are very exciting. Played majority of this season as a number 10 so I would expect him to play as the advanced CM in a 3 with Keita as the B2B and a DM.

Scores goals, creative, quick, excellent dribbling and really strong mentality.

    all good.

I'm not sure given how many players we have in position already if it's real but we will see.

for me we need to see who can step up and what we buy

as I've said grujic and Wilson should be looked at as squad players during preseason as I'm sure both will be available and have upped their games somewhat.

grujic has had a masterclass from Warnock in being a no 6 :bandit:
and hull fans are raving about Wilson after a couple of tap ins.

some form of forward like Werner or whoever then.

that's then a question of getting some players new clubs.

    karius mingolet ward
    taa clyne
    Robertson Moreno
    Matip lovren gomez
    vvd klavan
    Henderson grujic
    kieta windy
    fekir ox
    salah Wilson
    mane ?
    firmino ?

Which players do we have for that position? Ox, Keita, Lallana, Gini? I wouldn’t class Lallana as an option anymore because a) he’s not good enough and b) he’s unreliable.

    Gini is just so inconsistent.

I see Keita playing the B2B role.

Fekir can play number 10 and striker so he’s versatile.

We’re also linked with Ousmane Dembele. Apparently unsettled at Barca.

He wasn't worth what Barcelona paid and he won't be worth what they would want to recoup.

    Would rather go for Pulisic

Both are extremely talented so wouldn’t mind either.

Dembele has strugggled but hasn’t been helped by injuries. He is exceptional and can play on either wing.

I really wish we could identify talent like Dortmund.

I've always felt that bringing in players, developing their raw talent and producing stars feels better than signing big money players.

A very early gambit I'd say. We haven't, as far as I know, heard yet from Barca players about how good Salah is and how well he'd fit in to their team.
