Having said that, I was surprised how magnanimous he was after the Derby defeat, most unlike him <ok>

Even more so when they had 2 good calls for penalties..

Maybe because Gary Rowett is British so it's ok if Derby celebrate the way they did ..

Yes - shame that - can't stand Colin and would have liked to see Joka have a chance in the Prem. Still nerves can get to teams on the final day.

    If only Fulham had won.

Oh well, interesting finish to the Championship.

Sad for Fulham, Cardiff left the door open. Still, we need Cardiff next season, we don't want any teams that might be better than us ;). I do hope Joca and his team do it in the playoffs tbh though

Strangely enough, getting relegated may have been better for them than staying up. Staying up would have meant a 3rd season in the Championship, and would mean turning their ground into one that is all-seater. When a ground has a capacity of just under 7,000 with 3 sides terracing, the reduction in capacity and the cost of converting the stadium would mean that they wouldn't be able to invest in anything else in the club and would've gone down next year. There s land round the ground that they could potentially expand into, but when I went there in their promotion season, it was being used as a car park and had a gravel surface, not tarmac. I don't know whether the club, the council or someone else owns that land.
