It’s not moaning for the sake of it, but the 21 paragraph statement on the website has p1ssed me off. Why go out of your fvcking way to make things so complicated.
A predictable cascade of complaints from Charlton fans this morning trying to jump thru hoops & register with Ticketmaster ...all to support their own club. (Will be dismissed by the Apologists as moaning) I for one won’t be playing Duchatelet’s silly little games here
The clowns will soon be moaning when they do not get their tickets. Perhaps 'Richard' will put aside some for them.
Richard has shafted the fans, again. I object to this. I go to most games, home and away. Not a Glory Hunter. And yet that cvnt wants me to register with a foreign site , pay extra, and jump thru hoops just to see my own club. Who at the rudderless ship that is Charlton, made this crass decision? Just properly staff a fvcking Ticket Office !!
https://www.shrewsburytown.com/news/2018/may/playoff-semi-final-home-tickets-details/ The sensible way to sell tickets.
According to the OS, the club will have e-mailed a client reference number to all Charlton supporters on Saturday. Anyone received one?
No. I see the fiasco has been laughed off by Paul May as loyal fans (who go every week) having a pop at the Regime. Down in the gutter, again.
Any excuse for geriatric Apologists like Seriously Tedious and Jeddez to side with Duchatelet over their “fellow fans”. How weird is that PL54 character
Sadly it’s an embarrassment of a site. It’s not even WUM’ing - the group think of all the regular cretins on there involves a hatred of genuine fans.
The club should be trying to attract new fans, not just testing the loyalty of existing ones. It's not as though the Valley is sold out every week. Transient fans are still a source of income.
Not sure why a club with such a small average attendance needs to outsource ticket sales - we manage to do it in house with a much larger fanbase!!
I have been staying in Valencia with my Brother who lives there. I will be flying back for the match. Had trouble with the CRN number the Club sent me as it was incorrect. They have now given me a new one and it works. The £2.50 booking fee is a bit steep. It would be good if we had an in house system that was fit for purpose. Also enough staff to handle it. But as we all know everything at the Club is rosy, well so @lardiman and his ITTV mates think.
My final words on the Play Off tickets are that it’s another sign of how Duchatelet & Murray have mismanaged the Club. We should have a properly staffed and capable ticket office- and we haven’t. That’s why they’ve panicked and outsourced it. What we are witnessing this weekend will be a Teddy Bear’s picnic in comparison to allocating over 30,000 Wembley tickets. As usual, there is no consideration of and rewards for Charlton fans loyalty. It’s not even a consideration for Duchatelet- Murray that these arrangements are cumbersome and costly. Personally I won’t be playing the Virus’ silly games. I will go to the Valley after work on Thursday and pay on the gate. If it’s a 27,000 sell out () and I can’t get in, so be it. The vast majority of the Apologists defending these obscene ticket arrangements are the same people who never go to our games. Funny that.
Your mind-reading powers are impressive sir, and jolly helpful too. Letting other members here know what I think saves me the trouble of having to do it myself. As it happens I did have a little trouble with the ticketing website; I think I registered in the 'wrong' manner and was thus issued with a CRN number which did not match the number on my season ticket. This meant I could not buy my ST seat. I could not find a facility to change my CRN number on the website, so I logged out of the ticket site and cleared my browser history, then logged back into the ticket site but entered on the log-in page that I had forgotten my password. As part of the password reset procedure the website asked me for my CRN number and I entered the one on my ST (rather than the one they had given me when I first created my account). I expected an error message, but my new (ST) CRN number was accepted. When I logged in again my season ticket CRN number was shown in my account details, not the other CRN number. I was then able to buy my ST seat which the website had automatically reserved for me, meaning I did not have to track it down using the stadium map. I appreciate this information is only useful to season-ticket holders, but if anybody who has an ST but has encountered the same problem I did, my solution might be useful to them.
