    Having surgery later tonight, apparently. His son missed his game earlier because of this. Sounds bad.

    Yeah had a bleed in the brain and they induced a coma and then surgery

    Next day or so critical in this

    The club are saying that the surgery went well. But he needs a period of recovery, etc.

    A United statement said the procedure "had gone very well but he needs a period of intensive care to optimise his recovery".

    actually the critical thing is having it spotted as early as possible as i have the misfortune to know only too well :emoticon-0121-angry

    Hopefully he will make a reasonable recovery and the brain damage isn't too severe.

  20. As much as I might kick United and their supporters, there is no getting away from the fact that Fergie remains the greatest ever club manager the game has ever seen.

    I always enjoyed his single-bloodied mindedness.

    I hope he pulls through.
