I never understand why people "hate" a club. Certain individuals associated with it maybe, but not a club as an entity.

as in brighton and palace hate each otehr with a passion... over something that happened in the 1970s?

i've no issue with stoke par se. they've got seriously dirty as a set of players over the past few years. suppose they always were under pardew but snide sums up their players. Iliked thier fans on here though.

the fans o here might have been OK but visiting Stoke as away fan could be "interesting".

 

It's not just the adverse reaction to Stoke's relegation though, since around about 9.30pm on Wednesday night the reaction of hate and bile towards LFC reaching the CL has been all over internet football comments sections.
Along with references to 85 and 89, joblessness, perms and shell suits, thieves blah blah blah there's now the jealousy and the slating of Klopp, Salah and the rest.
It's pure hate from obviously mancs(both sides) but also mainly Spurs followers, those stupid pricks have developed some kind of "we're better than you" syndrome.

It'll go on forever saint because it'll be passed down to the next generation, that's what humourless haters do.

You do know that is only a minimum figure passed on by the ref before the last minute. More time can be added after that for other incidents such as fouls, substitutions, goals or time wasting.

 

Don't hate Stoke ... just hate their football.. they had one year where they tried to actually play but then back to that spoiler crap.

Would rather the likes of Saints stay up ... Swansea are just bit mweh .... even rather see a West Ham go down but they won't ...

 

Aye... certainly I'd have gone maybe 1 more for the free kick.... that was literally it.

 

It pains me to say this: I am now convinced that referees in England are bent. Where did this referee find an extra 2 minutes beyond the 4 minutes that were announced? No major injuries or multiple substitutions. This is so unfair on Southampton who fully deserved a win against a poor Everton. If Southampton gets relegated by a point or goal difference it will be this referees doing.

Continental referees blow on the second - whether there is an attack, corner or throw in.

Absolute disgrace. I am so angry at the injustice.
