Leicester appear to have given up on the season, unfortunately.

Ben foster having a blinder against us? No way?!

At least he’s not going to be time wasting today.

Why did we push up all of our defenders for a free-kick and then take it short? Pointless.

    Swansea are behind at Bournemouth.

0-0 HT. West Brom will be happy with that. They barely touched the ball, but we barely created anything.
Need to move the ball around more quickly and use our width better.
I won't be sad to see the back of West Brom, if we do manage to relegate them.

  11. We're far too predictable against this set up - and it's not like we haven't had practice!
I wish Lamela would spend more time 'doing' and less complaining.
Our crossing has been dreadful and as usual corners and freekicks a complete mess.

    Aggghhhhh!!!! :headbang:

This one's all on Pochettino. There's no shape in attack, no threat off the ball, nothing about the line up makes sense. West Brom aren't watering their pitch and we go 3 at the back and play Lamela over the more pacy Son and Moura? Stupid. Credit to Wanyama for doing well as a one man midfield but we're lucky to be level after the chances they had at the end.

    Rubbish.

So much posession but apart from the Kane chance we havent really caused them too many problems. In the attacking 3rd we have been poor. Dele has been virtually invisible in that first half and Lamela for all his graft has given us nothing creative wise.

A couple of needless free kicks given away aswell against an Albion side who are a real threat at set pieces.
Albion have got to come at us in the second half and take risks otherwise they are down. Hopefully extra spaces in behind them will apear.

We need more dynamic movement and passing to try and carve open this defence. West Brom are loving the fact they can double up on a non 100% Kane who is slow, giving them little to worry about, and our obvious target player. It’s too predictable once again.
We need an injection of pace. Hoping we’ll see Son and Lucas for Lamela and Kane later in the game if it remains like this.

  15. I know he has a lot of fans on here, but I do question why we persist with Lamela. The occasional assist, but no goal threat and his workrate can be replicated.

Lucas or Sonny - or both - please - and not at 75 mins!!

Oh, and McLean is one dirty fecker!!

Apart from no time-wasting by Foster, this is simply Wembley revisited! I guess their thinking is it largely worked for them there, so it’s worth repeating....... and hoping to grab two chances instead of one (assuming we score at some point). But West Brom rarely score more than one in a game. So let’s be a bit more ruthless in front of goal in the second half. Are you listening, Harry?

****'s sake. Really nice move and a poor touch at the end stops a goal. Shame.
