If it weren't for the fact we need the three points to help secure CL football, It would've been funny as **** if Poch went there and WBA'd WBA after all the **** they've pulled against us over the years. Play for the draw with ten behind the ball and time waste from minute 1, line up with:

    Hugo
    Tripps, Toby, Dave, Jan, Davies
    Dier, Wanyama, Dembele
    Eriksen
    Kane

Get through that, you mugs <laugh>

The weekend had started well with the goons losing on Thursday and Manure losing on Friday. Long may it continue.

If we can win at WBA, Lesta beat the Spam, Swansea and Southampton both win and Huddersfield get something at Citeh and the mousers and Chavs draw, I will be smiling somewhat.

The lunchtime match between Palace and Stoke could shape a lot of the weekend.

If Palace win they're safe while Stoke are down
If Stoke win that's West Brom effectively down, as they'd need at least five points from their last two games to finish 17th
A draw could make the Stoke/Swansea game for the final day a potential relegation playoff (depending on the Swansea/Southampton result midweek)

At least two of those scenarios have a direct knock-on effect on our game

It comes to something when the goons result is totally irrelevant.:cheesy:

It could be big in the battle for sixth. Europa League rounds are at stake.

    I’ som
I’d somehow forgotten that dreadful display by West Brom - and especially their disgraceful keeper. It takes a lot for me to be up out of my seat yelling abuse at opposition players and ref...... that was certainly one of those occasions for me. Please could I be allowed to rewrite a few bits in my prediction song?!

Reverted back to a three at the back. Fantastic news that Alderweireld starting.
Wanyama anchoring the mid with Lamela and Eriksen in a three and Dele supporting Harry. Fantastic line up that.

Resting those that looked 'done' on Monday and bringing in some strength and fight in Big Vic, Lamela, Toby and Rose. The thinking looks right.

Three centre-halves and Aurier doesn't even make the squad? Odd.

So is it Eriksen or Alli in the pivot alongside Wanyama? Or are we playing some nutso 5-1-3-1?

That being said, the lengths we're going to to not give Lucas a start...

    Wanyama on his own! :emoticon-0165-muscl

I’m lost as to why Lucas can’t get any minutes.

I doubt that he'll have played in anything like this afternoon. McClean, Hegazi, Dawson......it may be best to bring him off the bench when some of them have yellow cards to their names.

There's a good omen for us on Merseyside: Ebbsfleet's goalkeeper thought a ****load of timewasting would help, but it only served to piss of Tranmere and they're currently 4-2 up in extra time
