Peter is an old mate. He helped me a lot when I was young and just getting started.

It was tragic what happened to him. I try to get to see hm when I’m over there. Last time he was living out in Surrey,

Not in Greeny’s Class, but then very few are. I was mostly a session man, so yes, you had to be of a reasonable standard.

Loved playing with the guy when I got/get the chance. His phrasing and use of dynamics are intuitive. He just feels it...

 

One of the greats from an exceptional generation of English blues/rock musicians

 

Rock n Roll started well before the 50's btw...

 

Peter Green, Jeremy Spencer and Danny Kerwin. All 3 went nuts but all 3 were brilliant. Fleetwood Mac's early years were wonderful blues.

 

My mate, South African, many years ago lived with Peter Green, before he went doo-lally.

One of his many claims to fame.

Another of his stories. Got kicked out of, or escaped from South Africa (my fault cant remember) and landed on the wrong continent.

True story.

 

That's nothing mate, I landed on the wrong planet 57 years ago.
