Good Morning Everyone The Times have claimed that Sky's failed bid to hold on to La Liga rights was £54million. Radrizzani’s Eleven Sports network apparently blew that offer out of the water. It is a shame that the Italian businessman couldn’t throw similarly money at Leeds. According to Sky Sports, Leeds are in talks to sign Crusaders winger Gavin Whyte. Who are Crusaders I hear you ask? They are the Irish Premiership champions . The 22-year-old has been scouted by at least 10 other Football League and Scottish clubs this season. Yesterday you were asked to pick a former Leeds legend to turn back the clock, and once again play for Leeds. You were given four choices McAllister, Radebe, Batty and Strachan. Unsurpringly the majority picked the chief. Today, I'm going to ask you to choose between the following strikers:- Yeboah Clarke (Sniffer) Chapman Viduka Hasselbaink
54 million was a feeble amount I get the feeling SKY didn't want the contract Hope Rad doesn't lose too much money
Morning Elland,Viduka for me as could finish from anywhere, closely followed by Lee & Alan who were deadly in and around the six yard box,ahh nice to reminisce, pity we can't talk about the the current dross with the same passion, breaks my heart it really does.
Morning SW, well said pal. Viduka deliberately got himself sent off in our relegation from the Prem season so he didn't have to play the last couple of games. That will always leave a sour taste in my mouth regarding Viduka.
Good Morning Matt I keep insisting Radz is a businessman not a football man. Yes he is a clever shrewd cookie but as a fan who puts a substancial amount of money into LUFC every season I want to see it on the pitch not stacking it up on his multi-business ventures Wow-wee yet another signing to get excited about please log in to view this image I'm flabbergasted tbh. Lucas was a lovely man & I admired him when he was at ER. Rio was a better defender though. Lucas didn't win us a title as our wee Scotsman Gordon Strachan achieved who was the catalyst of the Wilko-era. I'd bet my house on it that Howard Wilkinson would go for Strachan, his presence, leadership, quality was the turning point when Wilko signed him from Man U What were are you all thinking ? You've omitted the great John Charles & the very underrated Mick Jones Out of those five it has to be Allan Clarke who was a clinical finisher. I loved Tony Yeboah, he skills lit up ER & grounds around Europe playing in a average Leeds side, had he played in a top Leeds team Yeboah would have been even more awesome than he was please log in to view this image the others can't hold a candle to the four I have mentioned !
You know who else should be on that list ? this could ruffle a few feathers,Chris Wood he also played in an average side but scored thirty plus goals in a season, god knows how many he could have scored with a descent supply chain like the others had,me thinks we got rid to soon should have built a team around him,and in thirty years time (if were still here) we would be saying who remembers the great chris wood, damn i hope we have some under 50's on here other wise could be a very bare forum by then
The convict and ex next door neighbour for me. Great bloke despite chucking the toys out as we got relegated....
Viduka (practically) closer than McGreedy cnut was to Mike. that's when I did have a "mansion". My eldest used to baby sit for his kids and those of Danny Mills. Danny Mills now owns my old house I believe plus half the other houses in the street and his mrs runs a high end leisure clothing empire (not sure if its regional or national)ed sweattie bettys... absolutely minted..
