I don't have a problem with that heck if we tracked down Traore signed him up and give him another medal I will be made up.
Henderson Might not be a legendary captain. He might even be a captain in name only; however, I would be happy for him to lift the trophy. He might not have the quality of some other more famous captains but he works damn hard for the team and puts a heck of a lot of sweat behind his performances. He's also a decent bloke. I'm more than happy for a hard working good guy to lift the trophy for once.
And if whoever did the scissor tackle had gone neither karius or taa would have conceded a pen. Also if we hadnt conceded a daft pen at home then we wouldnt have had anything tonworry about. Tbf you are spot on Carl
I loved seeing that kind of player interaction. mane apparently got out there an hour after the game and the place went mad. as he broke the line and ran over and it all kicked off again.
It doesn’t take much for a player to get involved but that small gesture just endears them to the crowd, gets the crowd more connected and increases the feel good factor on both sides.
Not really. If we win it then he deserves it - because we've won the CL. He doesn't have to have a scintillating CV to deserve a trophy he has contributed to. I don't suppose it's occurred to you that he might not be quite as bad as you think he is?
No it's just odd that's all. Nobody would ever associate him and the captain's thst have come before is all. 2005 had some **** players like troare, Lazarus kewell and bar is playing for us. But the captain was Gerrard.
