Nice effort, trying to hide it earlier but I knew what it was when I saw it and called it...anyway...back on topic the reason is simple, they are rivals, historical and geographical. Anyone who asks a Pool fan why they dislike United or vice versa is a bit of a mong tbh.

Well if you really want to go there - the last time Liverpool played a competitive match on 26 May was 1989 when they lost 2-0 and the opposition manager's surname was the same initial as his first name I'm with Spurlock - couldn't give a **** if an English team I don't like is playing in Europe. I still want them to lose. And yes - I am well aware that as a Watford fan it isn't anything I need to worry about.
Like Jaguar and Range Rover are recognisably British brands. Sort of. Not sure any other country is so willing to put it's heritage up for sale. But who knows, maybe it's the way to go.
