I see reports that the ref is devastated by his own failings at not giving 2 pens that, on replay, he considers clear. *I really don’t understand this patchwork approach to VAR, either use it everywhere or nowhere. * I do literally understand it is different governing bodies, I mean they should all agree on whether to use it.
the team that Steve Bruce built was dismantled in an incompetent pursuit of money rather than selling the club for a greater profit
Somewhere in some polo club bar, some smug clueless turd will be puffing our his chest and saying "That's me that is, I sold him for £8m everyone. I knew he was a good player."

I honestly don’t remember anyone saying he wasn’t good enough for us. I’ll admit he has surprised me, I always thought he was too weak defensively and I actually thought he might do a semi Gareth Bale and move further forward. But then the fact he barely featured for the first 3 months of the season suggests he may well have solely worked at that.
Pleased for Andy..Quality player and a nice guy. All the tosspot on the BBC could say is that AR is an ex Dundee United player, never a mention of us.. if ever you need evidence that our glorious leader and his arse kissing underlining's know Jack $hit about football, its valuing Andy Robertson at less than £20m
Just a point - and I genuinley don’t know the answer and I never wish to defend the massive ****er - but did he have a minimum fee post relegation? If perchance he did, then setting the minimum at more than double what we paid before he kicked a ball in the Premier League isn’t that stupid...
There was never any mention of a release clause for Robertson (and the players we did have release clauses on were all at similar prices to the ones they were signed for).
Didn’t we also publicly state every player has a wage decrease clause? You’d expect an agent to insert a minimum fee if he did. As I say, I don’t know if he did have one. I suspect none of us do. But he may have.
