Can't wait for this, we'll almost certainly lose to their bunch of 13 year olds, but if we can beat Swansea, anything's possible
Hmmmm, a very indifferent start to the season for Arsenal might see them fielding a stronger team than expected.
I'm not sure, I think they may underestimate us... even so, their 18/19 year olds tend to play at a higher level than league two, and Chamberlain could give Grandison a torrid time if he starts on the left. Saying that, I thought he was fairly good against Scott Sinclair when he came on, and looks more solid and reliable than he did last season.
lucky arsenal, their young team played excellent possession football during the week. i do hope gt takes the team down to london sometime before the game so that the team get an idea of how big the ground and stands are. now i wonder who shrews will play in the 4th round, as shrews always seem to lift their game to meet the occasion. believe me this is an occasion, i take shrews to win on penalties, which may result in arsene wenger being kicked upstairs. floreat salopia, come on you shrews, tout alors arsene
i expect the fans will blame this on the departure of fabricarse. the truth is shrews are too good for them. funny but why are there so many arses in arsenal= arsene fabricarse, arsenal. i wonder if they will play their north london screwfix team. floreat salopia
You lucky people. Arsenal away. Still you deserve a bit of luck. I'll be watching on TV. Have a great day out.
in theory shrews should walk this game, arsenal are near the bottom of the league below swansea who did everything but score today against sunderland. it matters not to shrews what sort of team arsenal play as arsenal will lose. floreat shrews
Best of luck shrews, the gunners are relegation fodder at the mo I am sure you guys will give em a game and do yourself proud.
On one of their forums they think a team of their kids are going to stick 7 or 8 past us, well they may be in for a shock, lets hope they keep thinking it will be that easy!! what do you think Swansea??
What do I think as a swans fan? well see post 11 above and the match thread for the game for our thoughts! Now if the gunners take the game seriously they will beat you simple, if they take it as a run out for their kids you may have a chance
Fantastic draw. Probably only United away could have topped it for me. It's good for us that Arsenal have the Champions League to think about but let's not delude oursleves that their kids won't be good! But we'll have a chance and we should make it a great evening whatever happens on the pitch. Hope Shrews fans are there in big and vocal numbers.
if the arse lose today at man utd, they will be relegation fodder, i still think town will rise to the occasion. my only hope is we do not have another cup run in the paintdry cup as all this will do is to dilute towns acheivments elsewhere. i think the carling will last us until forest green away or similar in the fa cup. if uncle graham can fit it in between cup games and climbing the league, a team bonding and training extravaganza is called for on fairbourne sands after our internationals have returned from duties to their countries. ( god that sounds good) what a great team we have the privilege to follow. now steady on gt and uncle rowland how you tackle cader idris, you both may want to practice on aran fawddy, wales second highest mountain. floreat salopia, come on you shrews, amwythig am byth
My son is an ardent Man U fan and after seeing Arsenal's performance in the Champions League was a little concerned, having thought they would be easy. I must admit they looked anything but relegation fodder judged on that match. But good luck, you never know in this comp.
man utd 8 the arse 2. oh dear, did arsene try his team out to play the shrews, away to man utd. big mistake if he did
