going to have to disagree. The refs were on your side. In this match, VVD barges Dzeko before your 2nd. Mane could have had a soft pen. Trents handball was stonewall pen and possibly red. Dzeko was taken out pen but incorrectly flagged offside. Florenzi should have seen red. Klavens was a soft pen. Anyway, you were the better team so deserved to go through.
First half went pretty well, second half far too casual, especially at the beginning and end. Far too many bad decisions upfront, particularly Salah who looked too greedy. But we're through! Think/hope we'll see a different Performance in the final where we have to go for it. Goals pretty much guaranteed... In both directions.
Roma was poor over 2 legs. We fully deserved to go through. The question is whether we can blitz Real in the first half.
I thought the ref was consistent in as much as it was going to take a really blatant penalty for him to give it, until he gave the least obvious of the lot at the end. Might have been a consolation present to Roma. Both sides can point to decisions.
Soft more like totally melted FFS If thats a pen we need to start recruiting only upper limb amputees for our defence . Oh and yes we have had the rub of the green with some decisions in this campaign but equally some have gone against us.
