On the contrary I think hating an *English team all year and then cheering them in Europe is weird. I’ve never once wanted an English team to win in Europe that wasn’t us.

* Scottish and Welsh teams are hated just as much. Except when Rangers played TWS.

why hate a team all year?
isn't it good enough to support your own team?
why do you need to hate other teams at all?

You will support Italian teams in Europe, won't you?
 
I'd want a British side to beat any foreign side, Spanish, Dutch, French, Italian or whoever. . Though I haven't got any time for Arsenal, I'd love them to get past A. Madrid and for Liverpool to beat R. Madrid IF they get through tonight.

To want a British side to lose is frankly criminal. But eh..it takes all sorts!!

English teams doing well increases our coefficient meaning some fairly lowly teams have qualified.

No I support England vs everyone.

I support England all year round. I don’t change my mind because of who they’re playing. Which is the entire crux of my point.
