****ing love that show. Spent many a night stoned watching that - think they're on about season 12 or something! Plus done about 4 films. Best TV show that's ever come out of Canada,
I'm slightly envious of you atm, I loved Vancouver, the most chilled place I've been to without being boring. They do the sickest breakfasts as well.
Probably the friendliest place I've been as well, unless you're black, but you ain't black cos ain't no black dude wearing dem shoes.
Can't wait mate. Got a two day journey as I need to fly up to London from Cornwall in the morning, then catch a dawn flight to Vancouver the next day. Then got a ferry over to Vancouver Island and I just booked a few nights in Whistler on the way back.
Where you staying, Victoria? Weird place that, feels like England but without the chavs. Duncan is a cool day out too, I had the best sandwich ever there. My memory bank is just dominated by what I ate
Tofino, doing a house swap. So I've got somebody from there staying at my place. I'll probably drive down to Victoria too and would like to spend a good while in the Pacific rim national park Got any tips for Whistler ? I've booked a hotel that has complementary bike hire, so I'll get out for a ride. The Gondola's are all closed for maintenance when I'm there, so can't go throwing myself off the side of a mountain. The lakes around there look pretty stunning too.
I really ain't Talking of sandwiches, best Sandwich I ever had was a Pastrami, on Rye with Monteray jack and Jalapenos from a little place off Flatbush Ave in Brooklyn.
I've done it loads of times before. Great way to travel as it's basically free, even swap cars too so no need to hire one. They are looking after my cat and I'm looking after theirs Obviously you put anything really valuable somewhere else, but it works on mutual trust. They are in your home, you're in theirs.
