I wonder what will happen to all these players we have on loan - some are very young of course. Then there is Amrabat and Success.
Starting to look at new strikers? http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp..._II_forward_attends_Watford_game/?ref=mr&lp=1
Deulofeu's contract at Barcelona ends in just 12 months' time, meaning that if the Spanish side are to cash in, it's likely to be this summer. However, Mundo Deportivo have also reported that the Catalan giants are keen to extend his deal at the club, as they now feel that they can command a bigger fee than the reported buy-out in his deal, which is said to be €25m. From the outside, it appears that Deulofeu is being used as more of a financial investment than a footballing one, but ultimately any move would depend on the star's ambitions moving forward. There are certainly a lot of hurdles which need to be jumped, but with a player of Deulofeu's quality being available for €25m, it'd be no surprise to see Watford moving heaven and earth to push a deal through.
Scott Duxbury talks about being ‘the best of the rest’ i.e. not fade as the season goes on, do a Burnley and finish 7th. Surely this is just the sort of signing we need to be making to match that ambition.
I´d take Rondon, better than Deeney and or Okaka in my book. Gerard is going to review things at the end of the season, doesn´t sound too promising although would love him to sign. mind...http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...ws/16196198.Deulofeu_expects_Barca_departure/
The release clause is £16m. Would we still be interested for that sort of money? (Yes, before the first person mentions it, I know it’s less than Gray...)
