Better still - Town regularly competing in the Champions League & Norwich doing much as they are now outside the Prem with the occasional yoyo promotion.
I can't really blame him, which is a shame because out of all the 'experienced' names being thrown about, he was my favourite. He got Blackburn promoted, seems to be well-liked up there, and Venky's let him get on with the job as they have withdrawn from the front-line running of the club. He also got money to spend last summer and managed to get Bradley Dack, who we were linked with at some point, and he's been amazing for them. I presume Mowbray will be given another decent budget this summer to ensure they avoid the drop. Plus, newly promoted sides to the Championship have had a knack of doing well recently, so he probably views us as a side-step job with potentially less money to spend in the market. I know we say that we have a great academy and a decent existing squad, but managers like Mowbray are more inclined to spend money and mould a squad to their trusted ideas, I think, compared to somebody like a Hurst or a Cowley, who will try to do well with what they've got.
