That's the hardest thing, where will Gerrard play. Some say instead of Adam, some say instead of Lucas and use him as a DM. Some also think he could play on the right instead of Hendo/Kuyt. Or even play with Suarez and bench Carroll. It's such a tough one, and very nice problem for Kenny to have
I like the idea of Gerrard and Suarez upfront together, or Gerrard on the right. Providing he still has the legs for it. I think it would be silly to split the Lucas/Adam midfield as I think it works well. I think from what we've seen kk will be using a squad approach with slightly different set ups and playing the big players for two out of three matches in rotation so they stay fresh through the season and therefore hopefully prevent injury and extend careers... Example being Suarez Carroll and kuyt who I think have all started 2/3 premier league matches each upfront. Therefore I don't think the question is where will Stevie fit in but what set ups will be used and for which matches?
Yeah that's very true That's the thing we have many players that can play many positions, and to a very high standard.

The owners/Comolli/Kenny seem to be in the habit of getting their man so can't see why this won't go through smoothly Can't wait to see him to be honest although he'll have to earn his place like everyone else. Could be another absolute bargain.
The fact he was at Anfield yesterday sort of suggests the deal is as good as done. Guessing it will be announced on Tuesday if no one is working on the bank holiday tomorrow.
Has anyone looked at that video of his highlights, and when he scores he has a big smile that exposes a big set of upper teeth, just like Suarez.
