How come James Rodríguez is allowed to play against Real?

 

Thought that was strange myself. Even if Real gave permission, I thought you were not allowed.

 

I think it is only automatic that he can't play against a parent club if it is in a domestic league/cup. Think it has to be written into the loan agreement that he can't play if they draw each other in Europe. Same thing happened when Courtois was on loan at Atletico and Chelsea played them in the CL.

I might be wrong though and they may have changed the rules after the Courtois incident as I remember it being a big deal at the time

Does anyone else get the feeling that both Real and Bayern are considerably better footballing teams than either Liverpool or Roma?

 

I own up. Just because he has not really been successful at a basketcase of a club, doesn´t mean to say he can´t hack it elsewhere.

 

I think Salah would get into either team but apart from that I agree. In fact if Salah was playing instead of Lewandowski tonight Bayern would be about 4-1 ahead.

Regretting the James thing now...

 

Real Madrid play to the occasion, Bayern had a number of chances and no doubt Liverpool will get some if they reach the final, but Real will up the performance to match Liverpool for sure.
