said it before, My BIL is a season tickett holder and he and most Ipswich fans think MM is a legend. Yes there are plenty who dont like their league position, style of play but to be frank he hasnt had a pot to pee in and only has ageing has beens and some kids. He has been making silk purses out pigs ears for years and he had enough. Its like Everton fans who want Big Sam out even though he saved them, got 30 points which is top 5 performance in prem for same number of matches. 2 Old fashioned managers who can organise shyte into getting results.
I’ve got a fair collection of old programmes, not really my bag. PM me if it suits you, your mate can have them if he wants, not after anything other than cupboard space back
If you want a little more meat on those bones (and Chippy can say everyone knows someone itk blah, blah) in all his time at Ipswich, not once has MM moaned about lack of investment or allowed his staff to. That is partly why he got so effed off with the moaning, he was defending their club.
Take a look at the featured articles section of the other forum we’re not allowed to mention Google loves informative relevant content and newsnow would want a dedicated post or page
Not as much as Google loves PPC though Rich, robbing feckers. Amazon are just starting their own version, now that makes things interesting
It stood out a mile when I did that comparison of squad market values to league position. He’s one of a small number of managers clearly over performing given his funds. The other thing in his favour is he has actually got a team promoted from this division (twice I think). Oh and didn’t he fall out big time with Roy Keane? Good man.
Klich has previously stated that he and TC didn't get along, and looks likely the reason he was let out on loan. When a coach has a personal problem with a player / s it brings problems to club and team. We saw it with Redders, we saw it with TC, and I think Heckyarse'ole is having problem with some players. Coaches who can't settle, control or put their personal problems aside for the sake of the team are showing they think they are bigger than the team / club imo.
Looks like we'll be playing each other next season, doesn't matter where you finish, we'll be playing each other next season.
I think MM to Leeds would be a good move. He had very little to work with at Ipswich, and looks like the owners weren't bothered about promotion or not. Here at Leeds he will have a lot more to work with, which increases his challenges within the job.....I reckon MM can get the best out of most of our players....
