Doubt it, it's just waste ground behind that wall and it's a bit away from the businesses.

No, but I’ve seen them before a couple of times and they’re excellent (Cott prices always seem exorbitant)

A complete waste of oxygen. If people like this are ever caught, there was a method of dealing with them in the old days:

A spell in those followed by the birch would solve a lot more problems that anything else.

I wonder if at some point the new Hull Venue will start releasing events for people under the age 40 who don't watch ITV.
I thought the whole idea when using tax payers money was to create a venue that would have Hull receive music gigs they don't normally get.
They are very good at releasing statements about what's to come but if you are between age of 18-30 (apart from one act) absolutely **** all.

    18-30s can’t afford gigs anyway
They’re too busy saving for unachievable house deposits and planning to work another 70 years before they get a pension

(To be honest I’m an old fogie and I’m not seeing anything of interest either...I wonder if it will take a year or so to get into the thinking of the touring circuit?)

hull has a serious lack of decent places to get a nice burger or food, there is just no decent food outlets in the city centre, it's poor

glasgow has more burget joints than hull has shops in the city centre
i feel like the city of culture has done nothing really for the average person
hull is just the same empty city

and people will go to york or leeds for shop

and now a kfc is open

seems obesity is the legacy of city of culture

Nothing says culture like the presence of a KFC. Anywherd without one is a cultural backwater.

I would say 18-30s go to more gigs than anyone. Unless I missed the sarcasm?I am in this category and go to them 3/4 times a year.

Final point the unachievable house deposits thing is a complete myth, I bought my own house at 20 (6 years ago) after saving for 12 months, its easy if you are good at managing money whilst on a salary of around £20k. I am now onto house number 3 and got two BTLs in the background. Anyone who thinks house deposits (London aside) are impossible to save for is not managing their money correctly. Off to view the next house this morning!

Food in the city centre is better now than it has been for decades, I never used to come into Hull on a weekend just to eat, but now I do regularly, 1884, Butler Whites, Tapasaya etc.

I’m not really a burger fan, but junior is, him and his mates usually go to Kerbedge (Dope Burger do have a sit in restaurant).

As for buying houses, my daughter (27) is in her second and my son (22) is in the process of buying his first.

Yes there was a small touch of sarcasm! (we need a sarcasm font!)
My youngest daughter’s bought her first house, in her twenties, round here, but my eldest is in London and that’s a totally different proposition (in fact I would say impossible)

Please don’t tell me that 3/4 gigs a year is a lot of gigs though...or were you looking for the sarcasm font too?...;)
