Social media = not even tomorrow's chip paper Official programme= document issued by the club, increases in value as the years pass Having said that, our current one is great on looks, poor on content. Maybe that's what you should expect given the priorities and mindset of the current owners. Think Strawberry kept the club's photo archive when the club binned them off, and the club is left with only a small amount of photos which they keep recycling, hence the big ads 'SINCE 1904' ads round town which have been used plenty of times before. Are there many other clubs which have so little regard for their past, and give away their historic photo archive to save a few bob with a new printer?
I thought the club employed a media team ? If we are not featured on the mainstream local BBC sports round up what exactly are they doing ?
That bespectacled chap is always at the presser, never seems to speak though. I note Hull are holding a big Bank Holiday fixture Open Day in West Park. What are we doing? A meet the players one weekday morning 0930-1130 sometime in July when only a few schoolkids might attend?
Liverpool going for the Champions League and Hull FC peddling junior tickets for £5 with a family fan park are filling the void left by City, nearly 10 years since 24th May 2008 and the legacy has been pissed away.
Yep, in a nutshell. The rot set in 2013 - half a decade ago- when Assem Allam decided to make our PL Promo parade an all ticket affair ate the KCOM. 5,000 people made the effort to attend instead of some 100,000 who might have turned out for a street parade. Classic example of the myopic obsessive vindictive approach of the current owners.
I’ve always bought a programme when I go to games, just so I have some memories of the games I’ve been to. It’ll be a shame but it’s not unexpected. We did have an online programme in 2013/14 called UTT, Up The Tigers. It was pretty good & I was a bit gutted they didn’t carry it on. I’ve still got it on my iPad. Still works & there are videos on it too.
